July 25, Flume Gorge, Franconia Notch State Park, NH

How can you resist - we'll do both.  First Flume Gorge, one of my favorite places.  Real NH - green, water and stone.    This time, I have taken lots of pictures as you scale the gorge, so you can see it with us.

Franconia Notch is the place of the NH face, which fell down in March 2003.

July 25 - same day - Forest Service Camp

These pictures, along with those which follow in the next few days will tell you why we love New Hampshire.  They re taken at a Forest Service camp we stayed in.

July 26 - Ride around Northern NH

   That's what I have to do with some of my flower pictures one day...

We took off the camper and took a circular ride around Northern New Hampshire, hoping to also make the top of the mountain.

They wouldn't let us up because the truck is too long!  Set limit because of the wind up there and clouds.

So... other sights...

Fungus everywhere

    saw these climbers, so we decided to DRIVE to the top...great views

Back down...

How's that for a day's drive?
